My Story
I'm Gemma, a Mindset & Clarity Coach, proud mum to my son Jaxon, and a passionate advocate for strength training, personal growth and living with intention.
As a Certified Leading Humans Coach, I combine evidence-based coaching frameworks grounded in neuroscience and human motivation with more than 18 years of experience across leadership, business development, sales and finance.
But my passion for coaching wasn't born from qualifications alone.
It was shaped by life's challenges, the lessons that came from navigating them, and a deep curiosity about what helps people create meaningful and lasting change.
At 18, I became critically ill and spent 11 days on life support while undergoing multiple life-saving surgeries.
The experience gave me a profound appreciation for life's fragility and taught me never to take growth, health or opportunity for granted.
While that experience shaped my perspective, many of the lessons that influence my coaching today came later.
Like many women, there was a period in my life when I felt disconnected from myself, my goals, and the direction I wanted my life to take.
From the outside, life looked successful.
I had a career, a family and plenty to be grateful for.
Yet I found myself moving through life on autopilot, feeling disconnected from who I was beyond the roles I played and uncertain about what I truly wanted for myself.
I wasn't unhappy because of what I had.
I felt unfulfilled because I'd stopped asking myself what mattered most to me.
That realisation became a turning point.
I began doing the work to reconnect with myself, gain clarity on what I wanted, and take ownership of creating a life that felt aligned with who I was becoming.
Through that journey, I discovered something powerful:
Awareness creates choice.
When we become aware of the thoughts, beliefs and patterns shaping our behaviours, we create the opportunity to choose differently.
That belief now sits at the heart of my coaching philosophy.
More recently, strength training has become one of my greatest teachers.
What started as a commitment to improving my health evolved into a much deeper journey of self-discovery.
After years of building consistent habits, challenging my own limitations and working alongside Pam DeGroot through The Women's Empowerment Project, I found myself asking a bigger question:
"How much further could I take myself?"
That question led me to set a goal that felt both exciting and intimidating.
Today, at 41 years old, I've just completed my first bodybuilding season, stepping onto the stage at the IFBB Queensland State Championships and Victorian Nationals.
As a mother, co-parent, full-time Senior Business Development Manager, business owner and aspiring competitive athlete, pursuing this goal was far from conventional.
And that's exactly why it mattered to me.
It wasn't just about competing. It was about proving to myself that growth doesn't have an expiry date, that big goals are always worth pursuing, and that we're capable of so much more than we often even attempt to go for.
That's why I'm passionate about challenging the belief that it's too late, too hard, or too unrealistic to go after what truly matters.
Not because I think every woman should step onto a bodybuilding stage: because I believe every woman deserves to give herself permission to pursue the things that light her up, stretch her, and help her become who she wants to be.
This is what sets me apart as a coach.
I'm not simply teaching mindset, behaviour change, and self-leadership. I'm actively living them while navigating many of the same challenges my clients face, balancing a career, family, personal growth and ambitious goals.
My role is to help women reconnect with themselves, gain clarity on what they truly want, overcome what's holding them back, and build the confidence to take ownership of what they want.
Because lasting change doesn't happen by chance.
